fourTWELVE, Rockland's finest contemporary women's clothing and accessories store, opened at 412 Main Street in May of 2007.
The store is the life-long dream of Beth Bowley, a Maine native and New York fashion designer. Bowley graduated from the renowned Parsons School of Design, went on to work with designer Perry Ellis, and in 1998 she launched her own line of clothing. Her collection has been featured in the pages of Lucky, Elle and In Style, and is sold in better boutiques nationwide, Nordstrom and Anthropologie. Beth enlisted a team of local experts to help form fourTWELVE, and it's been fun from day one....
The fashion boutique carries selected "must-have" items from Beth Bowley, Groa, Butter by Nadia, Susana Monaco, Velvet, CP Shades, Marika Charles, and a large yummy selection of cashmere styles. Our expanded denim and cord selection showcases the basics and fashion styles from AG, Serfontaine, James, and Citizens for Humanity.
Bags and wallets to carry your every need include luxe soft pieces from Linea Pelle and washed leather items from Latico.
The jewelry selection features exquisite handmade pieces from Melissa Joy Manning, sweet sparkly hoops by Viv & Ingrid, sexy chunky rings from Nashelle.
fourTWELVE has quickly developed a loyal following and can help with any whim, event, or fashion emergency you may have. Our goal is to always have a selection of timeless and must-have options in a relaxed, elegant, and easy-to-shop atmosphere.
Our newly added lifestyle area is filled with treasures for you home and the perfect gift for anyone on your list. Pillows, serving dishes (new and vintage), candles, blankets, lighting, body products, books, letter press paper...and the amazing Sealife Melamine collection from Thomas Paul.

 Beth Bowley — Owner, enabler, and life-long clothing nut
Beth has been sewing ever since her mom dared to give her scissors. This early passion led her to varied careers involving fashion and she's delighted to bring her passion back to Maine. It took a while, but she's finally found her way home...now if she could just get her yard under control...
Jin Lawrence — Stylist, local style icon, and visual master
Jin is a connector — just ask her anything about anything, ANYTHING, in the area. She should have her own web site called "Ask Jin"..in fact we need to get working on that. Her stylish taste, spot-on-eye for merchandising, brilliant event skills and warm smile are key ingredients to the success of fourTWELVE. Heaven sent perfectionist!

Carrie Shores — Architect, design savant, and the voice of reason
Carrie from Larson Shores Architects Inc., showed amazing patience, care, and creativity to get the look of fourTWELVE just right, and then execute the plan. Not an easy task when you are working with opinionated inexperienced design people. She is exactly the right person to have on your side when you need someone to achieve your vision - only with better ideas, materials, and execution than you thought possible...also when words like little metal "thingy" aren't working with the contractor.
